Hi, loves!

I know I haven't been THAT active recently, but that's only because I got more hours at work and I also have school, but... On Tuesday I'll be finished with school! If you didn't know, I've recently (10 months ago) moved to Germany and I've been taking German classes for the last 7 months, 5 days a week, 4 hours a day. And on Tuesday it's finally over and I'll finally have more free time on my hands! I am also preparing something huuuge for you guys (and for me as well), so stay tunned!
Today's makeup follows the Halo Eyes trend. If you don't know what that is, it's a type of eye makeup where you focus the darker colors on the outer and inner parts of your eyes, and you go in with the light shade (mostly a shimmery, metallic color) right in the middle of the eyelid. I find that this is a beautiful eye makeup that compliments a lot of eye shapes and it is quite easy to reproduce. For this look I used exclusively the Carli Bybel palette, and I also took a shot of the palette and numbered the shadows I used, so that I can also explain the process.
First of all, let's see how it looks.

What I love about this look is that the shiny eyeshadow that is located at the center of the eyelid gives you a unique glow. Even though I lined my waterline with black liner, my eyes look bright, awake and i don't know... shiny. Now getting to the more 'technical' part of the process. Below you'll se a photo of the palette that has the shades I used numbered. They are numbered in the order I've used them in, this way I can easier explain it to you.

STEPS

1. First thing you're gonna want to do is prime your eyelids. I used my old NYX primer that works just wonders for me.
2. With a fluffy brush I took shade '1' from the palette and I used it all across my eyelids, just so that the colors blend better.
3. Taking shade '2', also with a fluffy brush, I worked it into my crease as a transition color.
4. Then I took shade '3' with a slightly pointy blending brush and I worked it into the inner and outer corners of my eyes, but also into the crease, avoiding the center of the eyelid, slightly extending the outer corner to optically elongate my eyes.
5. I then used shade '4' in the same points I used shade '3', so the color would deepen.
6. With the same brush I applied shade '5', but only in the outer corners of my eyes, to intensify the color.
7. At this point, the center of the eyelid should have no eyeshadow on it. We're gonna apply here the lightest shade, but first I like to do a little trick to make the color pop even more. On a flat shader brush I took a bit of NYX's Jumbo eye pencil in Milk and I dabbed it right onto the center of the eyelid. This way the shadow has a stickier base and the color is brighter and more intense. Now, using the same brush, pat shade '6' right where you just put the base. I also used this shade to highlight my inner corner and brow bone.
8. Repet steps 4,5,6,7 but this time on the lower eyelid.
9. I used a black kajal liner to line my waterline and I slightly smudged the same product on my top lid, to replace the usual eyeliner.
10. Mascara.

Aaaaand you're done! It wasn't as hard as you thought it would be, was it? I hope you had fun reading this and let me know if you're going to remake this look!
